Beth Medrash Govoha Rabbinical College - Lakewood, NJ
This 20 million dollar project consisted of the demolition of the existing building and the construction of a new 45,000 sf three story facility for the Rabbinical College. The main hall featured custom engineered steel barrel vault trusses which clear spanned 84’-0” and provided support for the main architectural element. The composite steel beam floor supports both the great hall and the kitchen facilities along with multiple offices and classrooms. The remainder of the building was constructed using standard open web steel bar joists supported on a steel skeleton and poured in place concrete foundations.
Monmouth University, 800 Building - West Long Branch, NJ
We provided Structural evaluation of the existing two story wood structure which served as an art studio and classrooms. The existing 6,000 sf building was in need of structural repair and renovation including the second floor framing down to the existing foundations. We worked with the contractor to develop a repair plan which could be executed in phases to work around the needs of both the faculty and the university.
Deal Yeshiva - West Long Branch, NJ
This project consisted of an addition to the existing school. New construction of 20,000sf steel joist on masonry bearing walls building. The foundations were poured in place concrete with concrete floor slabs.
Monmouth University, Presidents House Reconstruction - West Long Branch, NJ
This project consisted of a structural existing conditions review and report to evaluate the feasibility of structurally reinforcing the existing residence to provide for the growing needs of the college. The large existing president’s mansion constructed at the turn of the century was structurally evaluated from head to toe. Once the analysis was complete construction options and costs were compiled and presented to the executive board. The existing house was eventually demolished and a new structure completed.
